ANDOAS / Andoas

Od 21 listopada jestem w parafii Andoas, diecezja Santo Domingo, żeby podzielić się w ciągu 7 dni Orędziem Miłosierdzia. Proboszczem jest Polak, ks. Tomasz. Wiele zrobił dla tej parafii.
Każdego dnia jest prelekcja ogólna w jednej z miejscowości dojazdowych a codziennie kontynuujemy tematy w głównym kościele. W poniedziałek było o życiu i misji św. Siostry Faustyny, we wtorek i środę byliśmy w szkole duchowości Siostry Faustyny. W czwartek było o życiu Jana Pawła II i jego nabożeństwie do Miłosierdzia Bożego. Dziś o Nowych formach kultu: Godzinie Miłosierdzia, Święcie Miłosierdzia i Koronce. W sobotę będzie jeszcze o obrazie i o życiu wiecznym (niebo, piekło i czyściec). Niedziela natomiast ma zachęcić do przyjęcia tego ognia miłosierdzia jakim jest Orędzie o Miłosierdziu Bożym  - by być Apostołem Bożego Miłosierdzia. Za tydzień - 4 grudnia -  będą mieć uroczyste przyjęcie relikwii s.Faustyny i Jana Pawła II.
Proszę o modlitwę...

From 21st of November I'm in Andoas, diocesis Santo Domingo, and I have 7 days for sharing with people here the Message of the Divine Mercy. The Parish Prist is Polish, Fr. Tomas. He made a lot for the parish. Every day is the speach in one of the villages far away from the main church, and in the main every day there is other topic. On Monday it was - life and the mission of saint sr. Faustina, on Tuesday and Wednesday we were in the school of spirituality of sr. Faustina. On Thursday  - the life and devotion to Divine Mercy of saint John Paul II. Today it was about new forms of devotion: The Hour of Mercy, the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Feast of Mercy. On Saturday it will be about the Image and the life eternal (heaven, hell, purgatory). On Sunday it will be the time that people could accept the invitation for receiving the "fire of Mercy" to their heart and became in Apostoles of the Divine Mercy. The next week - 4th the December  - the parish will have the celebration of the etrance of relic of saint Fustina and Juan Pablo II.
I ask for prayer...

SIOSTRY BENEDYKTYNKI MISJONARKI / The Benedictine Missionary Sisters

Obecnie jakiś czas goszczą mnie Siostry Benedyktynki Misjonarki w Santo Domingo - 15 godzin jazdy od Guayzimi. Mieszka tu moja koleżanka z Centrum Formacji Misyjnej - s. Ligia. W tym domu jest jeszcze s. Esther, Ekwadorka i w drugim domu dwie Polki - s.Eliza, S.Przełożona i S. Karmela.
W domu gdzie jestem Siostry mają żłobek. Przypatruję się nieco tej pracy i troszeczkę pomagam przy dzieciaczkach i także maluję sobie różne obrazki :-).Szefową jest s. Esther - ta ma kobieta dar do maluszków! Super się nimi zajmuje!
 Byłam tez w drugim domu - tam siostry prowadzą Dom Dziecka "Valle Feliz" (zadanie - przetłumaczyć to sobie w Google:-) ).
Siostry robią co mogą by dzieci były szczęśliwe, by miały dobre warunki materialne, sprowadzają wolontariuszki do opieki nad nimi - oprócz pracowników. Ale jakby to było dobrze, gdyby każde dziecko miało dobrą rodzinę. Niektóre z tych dzieci przychodzą do żłobka - jak bardzo tęsknią za przytuleniem, posiadaniem kogoś dla siebie - po prostu się "kleją" do każdego. Pomódlcie się by sprawy papierkowe z ich sytuacjami udało się uregulować i mogły znaleźć szczęśliwe rodziny.

Lately I’m  hosting by the Benedictine Sisters of Missionaries in Santo Domingo - 15 hours the journey from Guayzimi. Here, lives my colleague from the Centre for Missionary Formation - s. Ligia. In this house there is also s. Esther, from Ecuador and in the second Closter in Santo Domingo there are two Poles - s.Eliza, Superior and S. Karmela.

In the house where I stay sisters has the nursery. I accompany to sisters a little bit lately with my small help with the children and… also I’m playing and was painting some pictures :-).

The Jeff here is s. Esther - this woman has a gift for tiny tots! Takes care of them in a very smart and nice way!

 I visiting also a second house of sisters - where they run an orphanage Valle Feliz  (your task - to translate it yourself in Google :-)).

Sisters are doing a lot to make their children happy, to provide them good material conditions, find volunteer to care for them  (apart from the employees). But it  would be good if each child had a good family.

 Some of these children attend in the nursery - how they long for a hug, having someone for you – they are simply "stick" to each person which they like. Pray that paperwork about their situations could be able to regulate soon and could find a happy family.

W parafii był zorganizowany konkurs o s.Faustynie...  jedno z dzieci myślało, że Faustyna jest Argentynką - jak Papież, ale nie Jan Paweł II ale Franciszek :-)

In the parish was the art contest about st. Sister Faustyna... one of children thought that sr. Faustina is from Argentina - like Pope... but not John Paul II but Francis :-)

 Komary zrobiły mi "krwawą jatkę" - Siostry uratowały mnie przez moskitierę...
Mosquitoes have done to me "bloodbath" - sisters saved me by a mosquito net ...

A dziś miałam zaproszenie do Valle Feliz na fiestę - urodziny 3 dzieci - to był ich 1 roczek. Kilka fotek prześlę - bawiliśmy się świetnie i  były Smerfy i tort i tańce - Siostry pięknie wszystko przygotowały razem z pracownikami i wolontariuszami!

Sto lat naszym maluszkom! ¡Feliz cumpleaños!

And today I had an invitation to Valle Feliz  for the “fiesta” - 3 children's birthday - it was their 1 year old. A few photos send - had a great time and were Smurfs and birthday cake and dancing - all of this sisters lovingly prepared together with staff and volunteers!

DZIEŃ ZADUSZNY / All Souls' Day

Dziś Ojcowie Franciszkanie sprawowali Mszę św. na 5 cmentarzach. Ja byłam na 3. Najpierw Msza św. a później tradycyjny napój - "colada" (czyt. kolada) - coś jak nasz kisiel owocowy.
Także przygotowują bułeczki w formie dziecka lub mumii..
A dzień -  bardzo gorący...

Today Franciscan Fathers celebrated the Holy Misa on 5 cemeteries. I was at 3. After the Holy Misa it was the traditional drink - "colada" something like our fruit jelly.

Also they prepare the buns in the form of a child or a mummy ..

And the day - very hot ...

ADORACJA / The adoration

Mieliśmy w parafii w Guayzimi piękny czas z Panem Jezusem - 24 godziny adoracji. Każda grupa parafialna i każde Barrio (dzielnica) miały swój czas. W niektórych godzinach nocnych nikt nie przyszedł, wiec czuwaliśmy albo ja albo o.Seweryn. Na tablicy napisałam fragment z Dzienniczka nr 1420.
Kiedy się pogrążyłam w modlitwie, zostałam w duchu przeniesiona do kaplicy i ujrzałam Pana Jezusa wystawionego w monstrancji; na miejscu monstrancji widziałam chwalebne oblicze Pana i powiedział mi Pan: Co ty widzisz [w] rzeczywistości, dusze te widzą przez wiarę. O, jak bardzo mi jest miła ich wielka wiara. Widzisz, [że] choć na pozór nie ma we mnie śladu życia, to jednak w rzeczywistości ono jest w całej pełni i to w każdej Hostii zawarte; jednak abym mógł działać w duszy, dusza musi mieć wiarę. O, jak miła mi jest żywa wiara.

We have in parish church in Guayzmi beatiful time with Lord Jesus - 24 hours of adoration. Every group in parish and every quarter has own time for the lead the prayer. In some hours in the night there came nobody so just we adore I or father Severin. On the board I wrote the words from the Diary of saint Faustina n.1420:
When I steeped myself in prayer, I was transported in spirit to the chapel, where I saw the Lord Jesus, exposed in the monstrance. In place of the monstrance, I saw the glorious face of the Lord, and He said to me, What you see in reality, these souls see through faith. Oh, how pleasing to Me is their great faith!You see, although there appears to be no trace of life in Me, in reality it is present in its fullness in each and every Host. But for Me to be able to act upon a soul, the soul must have faith. O how pleasing to Me is living faith!

SANTO DOMINGO

Na zaproszenie Sióstr Benedyktynek Misionarek i ks. Proboszcza Leona miałam okazję mówić o Miłosierdziu Bożym w Santo Domingo. To miasto ma dopiero ok. 50 lat i jest tez stolicą diecezji Santo Domingo.
S.Ligia, moja koleżanka z Centrum Formacji Misyjnej, postarała się o relikwie św. Siostry Faustyny do kaplicy sióstr, i postanowiła mnie zaprosić. Kto by pomyślała, gdy byłyśmy w CFM że będziemy pracować w jednym kraju! Drogi Boże są niezwykłe...

I was talking about Divine Mercy and saint sister Faustina in Santo Domingo, because I had received the invitation from Sisters Missionaries Benedictinas and parish father Leon. This city is quite young - it has just 50 years.

S.Ligia, my fellow from Missionary Center in Warsaw, received the relic of saint sr. Faustina to the chapel of sisters and wanted to prepare the community of parish for this event so she invited me. We never even could thing in Missionary Center that one day will see again and work in this same country! The ways of God are the mystery...

A tu złożyli mi życzenia i były lody, bo dzień wcześniej miałam urodziny...

And here I received wished and we had some ice-cream because day before I had my birthday.

NIEDZIELA MISYJNA / The Sunday of the Mission

Dziś w Polsce obchodzimy niedzielę misyjną, jest to okazja przesłać Wam wszystkim serdeczne pozdrowienia! Na misjach nie jest łatwo ale jak dla mnie...jest to najwspanialsze miejsce! Dużo pracy... różnych przeszkód, czasem zdrowotnych, czasem innych... ale mam w sercu tyle radości, pokoju... dziękczynienia Panu Bogu i ludziom...
Mojej Rodzinie a szczególnie mojej najmłodszej Siostrze Madzi, która zawsze mnie wspiera...
Tym, którzy już kilka lat wspierają mnie na misyjnej drodze - w pierwszym rzędzie Drogim Ojcom z Centrum Formacji Misyjnej - Ojcu Janowi i Kazimierzowi oraz koleżankom i kolegom z CFM.
  Profesorom misyjnym - o.Jarosławowi, Tomaszowi i Wojciechowi... i wspaniałym kolegom misjologom, szczególnie ks. Karolowi. Wszystkim pracownikom działów misyjnych, którzy wspierają Polskim misjonarzy.
Jestem wdzięczna moim Przyjaciołom - Bernadecie z Hong Kongu, Viktorowi, Marii i Aleksandrze z Argentyny i wszystkim, których spotkałam w Villa Dolores.
Dziękuję mojej patronce misyjnej - Gosi Karnasiewicz!

Today we celebrate in Poland the Sunday of Mission, so there is good possibility to send my best greetings! The missions is not a easy thing...but personally, for me...it is wonderful place! There is a lot of work...a lot of obstacles, sometimes with the health, sometimes others...but I have in my heart a lot of joy, peace...and thanksgiving for God and for people...

To my Family, especially to my sister Magdalena, the youngest one, who supports me always..

For those who accompany me already few years on the way of mission - firstly my Dearest Fathers from The Missionary Center in Warsaw - Fr. Jan Fecko and Fr. Kazimierz Szymczycha, and my fellows From Missionary Center. My professors - fr. Jarosław, fr. Tomasz, fr.Wojciech and my great fellows from the studies, especially for fr. Karol. For all who work supporting the  Polish missionaries.

I'm very grateful my friends - Bernadette from Hong Kong, Vic, Maria and Ale from Argentina and all I could meet in Villa Dolores.

ŚLUB / Wedding

No tak Madziu, moja siostrzyczko, spełniam Twoją prośbę i opowiem jak było na ślubie :-).
To był piękny dzień - świeciło piękne słońce, i widoczna była radość na twarzach wielu osób.
Nas katechista Justino, po wielu latach życia samotnego (44) zdecydował się to zmienić.
Gdyby nie był katechistą (a katechista przecież ma dać przykład życia w łasce Bożej, wiec musi być albo w związku małżeńskim albo "soltero" - singiel) i nie miał tylu zachęty o.Seweryna do życia z łaską sakramentu, pewnie jak wielu tutejszych katolików żyłby w "union libre" (wolny związek).
Ale całe szczęście Justino chce być katechistą i korzysta z pouczeń Ojca Proboszcza.
Na wesele została zakupiona krowa, ponieważ zostali zaproszeni nie tylko mieszkańcy całej wioski ale i okolicznych. Nigdy w tej kapliczce nie widziałam tylu ludzi - niektórzy może pierwszy raz byli w kościele, a na pewno wielu pierwszy raz w życiu było na ślubie... Tak mało sobie je tutaj cenią... Związki nie są też trwałe... Trudna sprawa.
Ale skoro był obiecany posiłek - to wielu przyszło. Ludzie tu żyją bardzo biednie, więc taki obiad to nie byle co...
 Myślałam, że Nowożeńcy ubiorą się w swoje stroje, ale akurat tu tak nie było - pan młody nawet ściął włosy! (W niektórych plemionach panowie noszą warkocz a w niektórych kucyk).
Przy okazji były też 4 chrzty. Bardzo się cieszę, kiedy ludzie ptzyjmują sakramenty, chca być blizej Pana Boga!
Pomódlcie się za Młodą Parę!

Well Magdalena, my sister, I will fulfill your request and tell about how it was at the wedding :-).

It was a beautiful day - shine sun, and was visible joy on the faces of many people.

Justino, our catechist, after many years of living alone (44) decided to change it. He is living in one of the villages of Indians.

If he wasn’t catechist (a catechist has to be an example of living in the grace of God, so it must be either married or "soltero" - single) and did not recieve many incentives of fr.Severin, to life with the grace of the sacrament, perhaps as many local Catholics would live in the "union libre" (concubines) But fortunately Justino wants to be a catechist and wants to fulfill the teachings of the Father of Parish.

For the wedding was purchased a cow, because there were invited not only the residents of the village but the whole village and surrounding. I have never seen in the chapel so many people - some perhaps for the first time were in the church, and certainly many for the first time in their lives could see the wedding ceremony ... This sacrament is not very popular here ... The relation in family between man and woman not are very strong so often... The difficult thing .

But because it was promised a meal after the ceremony - so many people came. People here live very poorly, so the meal here is not a small thing ...

 I thought that the will have their traditional costumes, but it wasn’t like that - the groom even cut down his hair! (In some tribes, men wear a tress and some pony hair).

By the way, there were 4 baptisms as well. I am very happy when people receive sacraments, they want to be closer to God!

NOWENNA I ŚWIĘTY FRANCISZEK / Novena and Saint Francis

Św. Franciszek jest tutaj jednym z bardziej znanych świętych a to dlatego, że pierwsze misje na tych terenach prowadzili franciszkanie (Wikariat Apostolski Zamora). Biskupem jest także franciszkanin  - bp.Walter Heras Segarra. Parafię w Guayzimi mają pod opieką franciszkanie a także św. Franciszek jest patronem Cacpe, czyli jednego z tutejszych urzędów...  I to właśnie osoby z tego urzędu tradycyjnie były odpowiedzialne za przygotowanie nowenny i święta św. Franciszka. Trochę pomagałam  - np. układałam dla nich modlitwę wiernych czy komentarze do darów ofiarnych, lub czasem grałam na gitarze. Każdy dzień nowenny był związany z fragmentem modlitwy św. Franciszka: "O Panie uczyń mnie narzędziem Twego pokoju...".
Po Mszy św. w niektóre dni była projekcja filmu. Było o św. Franciszku ale też o św. Maksymilianie Kolbe, który poszedł w ślady Franciszka - ten film nieco komentowałam oglądającym bo nie rozumieli wielu sytuacji z filmu nie znając historii Polski.
Innego dnia było poświęcenie zwierzaków. Były nawet kurczaczki :-)
A ostatniego dnia nowenny po Mszy św. była celebracja Transito św. Franciszka - zadanie domowe dla Was dowiedzieć się co to znaczy.
Wtedy jednak już mnie nie było. Wyjechałam do Santo Domingo o czym napiszę niedługo...

Saint Francis is one of the most known saints here because on this area there were franciscan fathers whose founded the mission (Apostolic vicariate in Zamora). Our bishop is also franciscan father - Walter Heras Segarra. In our Parish works franciscan fathers and saint Francis is a patron of Cacpe, one of the offices of goverment... And there is the tradition that they are preparing the novena... I helped a little - f.e. I wrote the petitions, and comments for the gifts and also sometimes I played the guitar. Every day of novena was about one frase from the prayer of saint Francis: Oh Lord, make me an instrument of your peace..."
After the Holy Misa sometimes we have a movie. F.e. about saint Francis and also about saint Maximilian Colbe who was the fallower of saint Francis - during this movie I had to explain some things for people because they didn't understand some situations from the movie without the knowledge about history of Poland.
In another day it was blessing of the animals. Some people brought also small chickens :-).
And the last day of novena after the Holy Misa it was the celebration of Transit of saint Francis - it will be your homework to get know what it's mean.
But in the last day of novena I left for Santo Domingo - I will write about it soon...

SPOTKANIE PASTORALNE W GUADALUPE / The pastoral meeting in Guadelupe

Ale nie w Meksyku :-). Tu też jest miejsce o takiej nazwie. Przez tydzień mieliśmy konferencje i spotkania w grupach na temat "Santa Misiones Populares" - Powszechne Misje Święte (ale nie takie jak mamy w Polsce). Mogłam poznać księży , siostry i wiernych świeckich zaangażowanych w duszpasterstwo. Ciekawe doświadczenie. Byli też ks. Łukasz i ks.Wojtek, więc mogliśmy nieco porozmawiać.

But not in Mexico :-). Here we also have place called like that. During one week we have a lot of conferences and meetings in the small groups talking about "Santa Misiones Populares" - Popular Saint Missions (but it's something new, not like "Missions" in Poland). I could meet with priests, sisters and lay people who are involved in the pastoral work. It was interesting experience. There were also Fr. Lucas and Fr. Wojtek, so we can talk a little bit.
